As Vice President of Security Operations, Jason Pfeiffer is responsible for the management and development of ReliaQuest’s multiple security teams, overseeing ReliaQuest’s Security Operations Centers in Tampa and Las Vegas. Jason is one of the industry’s leading cybersecurity professionals, specializing in incident response and risk assessment. He has spent his career building and leading world-class information security programs for global businesses, including Lockheed Martin and PwC. He has led investigations and responses for a range of incidents – some involving multiple nation-state threat actors.
Jason started his career at Lockheed Martin, working for the CISO in various roles, including leading the company’s internal security risk assessment team, serving as Chief Security Architect for Identity and Access management strategies, and serving as Chair of Lockheed’s Policy Management Authority (PMA) and a voting member on CertiPath’s PMA. Jason left Lockheed Martin in 2008 to join PwC, where he began developing its threat and vulnerability management program. After leaving the firm in 2010 to join RSA, Jason re-joined the firm a year later as the Enterprise Information Security & Assurance Leader for the US and UK firms. Jason aligned and transformed the two firms and took on responsibility for all cyber security across the America’s, as well as the UK and, ultimately, became the Deputy Head of Global Cyber & Data Protection for PwC. In 2015 Jason was awarded the Senior Information Security Professional award by ISC2 for his work in developing and building PwC’s Cyber Fusion Centers (CFC). In 2016, Jason joined Cognizant as the Global Head of Cyber Operations and Incident Response. Jason earned an B.S in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and a M.S. in Technology Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). |
